Team Quatros Racn Inc - is looking to race (for fun) other league team racers, If interested shoot FORTY8_CHAMP a message on the PS3 or visit: www.quatrosracninc.webs.com. You can also find his website on my Links page. They currently race on Sunday and Thursday nights at 10pm eastern time. I race in this league also, and everyone in the league are stand up guys and everyone races clean. Intentional wrecking is not tolerated! Only default setups are allowed in league races, and you are only allowed adjustments during pitstops. Races are set at 50% length, 2x tire wear and fuel, and full cautions. FORTY8_CHAMP has also started an IROC league that races on every Wednesday night at 10pm eastern, and the first race for that series was on Wednesday the 17th of April 2013. The format for the IROC league is: 10% in length, no tire wear, no Pitting under cautions is allowed, no bump-drafting is allowed to advance your position, you are allowed to bumpdraft only if you are separated from the pack, and 2 heats are run per event for the IROC league. So if your tired of people wrecking you intentionally, racing backwards, and blowing you away with their magical fast setups, head on over and check it out and send FORTY8_CHAMP a message on the PS3. Again his website is: www.quatrosracninc.webs.com, and his website can also be found on my links page.

On the main "Setup Garage" category, I have posted a simple user friendly guide on how to setup your car & how to make adjustments, for those of you who try to do it on your own but always comes out worse. A rule of thumb here is that it will always get worse, before it gets better. I know you've heard this before, but you just have to keep trying different things to see how they work. Adjustments take time & patience to get the setup that is just right! None of the setups posted on here are perfect by any means, but they are a pretty good start!
The Setup Adjustment Guide should apply to both Sixaxis controller users & Steering Wheel users. Mainly because, when you make an adjustment, it is for your driving style & whatever you may be using with your system.
I have given this guide its own page in the "Setup Garage" category in the navigation bar. Just move your mouse over to where it says:"Setup Garage", and the 5 categories should appear. I hope this guide helps all of you wheel users out there & also everyone who wants to make their own adjustments, tailor made to their own driving style.
The guide itself is just a simple overview of the different settings that you can change within the game. If you would like to see more detailed information on each setting and how it works, I have provided 7 subdivisions under the Setup Garage category. Just move your mouse over to where is says "Setup Garage", and the 7 categories should appear. These categories are: Setup Adjustment Guide, Tires Toes & F. Brake Bias, Chassis & Suspension, Balance Weight & Steering, Drivetrain & Aero, Pit Stops, and Setup Troubleshooting.
You will also notice that some of the settings within these categories are different from NTG 2011 & Inside Line. These are also for other racing games and the same principles can be used in any racing game, so keep that in mind. Enjoy!

The new game, Nascar The Game Inside Line, is now out and I'm sure all of you have played quite a bit of it by now! Anyone playing the new game, please feel free to post in the forum section any differences between NTG 2011 and NTG Inside Line, and any new setups you may have created yourself with the new game. As always, be sure to post lap times and what assists that you used, along with any new setups that you post. I have added new categories for the new game in the forum section for anyone to use.
Those of you who have played with the setups in the new game, I'm sure have found the glitches in trying to save some of the settings. When creating new setups, the game has issues when trying to change trackbar, wedge & ride height settings. The upcoming patch the game developers are currently working on, is suppose to fix these & other issues the game has. The trackbar, wedge & ride height are adjustable, but after you save & go back & look at your settings, the trackbar will be right back at the default setting, & your wedge & ride height will change depending on what one or the other are changed to. Until they come out with a patch update, I urge you to NOT try to change your wedge! Instead, use your ride height settings to change your wedge setting. I'm Hoping they come out with the patch for PS3 soon. In the meantime, I've been trying some of the default track setups along with some of the setups I created for 2011. Some of the setups for NTG 2011 will work for inside line, but mostly not. You can try them if you want, but for some reason the cars handle differently on inside line. You can also use one track's default setup at other tracks. Until the patch comes out, just experiment to see which setups work at other tracks.

A new category page has been added called Track Facts. Each track listed has some information about it, like banking, track records and how the track came about. Go check it out and enjoy!

Unfortunately, the patch updates can sometimes change the handling at some of the tracks. I will be checking the other tracks already posted as well. If any changes need to be made, they will be highlighted in BOLD RED.
Keep in mind that the default setups for this game aren't too bad & can be used as a starting point to make a setup better. Start by changing simple things 1st, for example: Wedge, Tire Pressures, Trackbar, Steering Lock, and Swaybar, then moveup to more complicating settings like, Camber, Caster, Bump, Springs, Rebound, & Gear Ratios. The key is to change 1 thing at a time and test on the track after each change! Take notes on each change & whether it helps or hurts you. I know this seems like it takes an eternity to do this way, but is worth it in the long run!
I will be posting car setups in the forum section as I get time. If you have any requests for certain tracks, let me know & I will post them if I have them, & make changes to them later. There are a few tracks that I don't have yet, & the tracks I do have I'm trying to fine tune before I post them. The tracks that I don't have I will be doing some R&D on. These setups may or may not be faster than yours. This is just to get people who don't have good setups pointed in the right direction.
You should also note, that the setups posted on this website are with a standard PS3 Sixaxis controller & may or may not work with the steering wheel!
If you have a setup that is better than mine, or one I don't have yet, please feel free to join my site and add your setup to the site! Or you can post a comment stating any changes you would make & why, to an existing setup. It also would be helpful to post the times that you got with a setup that you tried with the changes you made. I created this website to help everyone be competitive in the online racing world. Afterall, it is just a game & there is no prize or money for 1st. Just bragging rights! Lol!

Any of the car setups listed in this website HAVE NOT, been copied from any other website! All of the setups listed on this website have either been created by myself or given to me by other online players voluntarily or a mix of both! All of the setups have been adjusted to MY driving style, so unless someone has the same driving style as I do, any setup that may have the same settings as anyone else is purely coincidental & should be treated as such! The setups published on this website are being made public so other Nascar09, NTG 2011 & NTG IL players who don't have good setups, have a good starting point & can adjust to their driving style, so they can be competitive.
